About Me

I am the youngest of three siblings all born and raised in Louisiana. I have always appreciated creativity and imagination. From a young age, I have been captivated by storytelling and often engineered the rules or processes of games made up with friends. I played simulation games in my free time where I could organize and control virtual situations. As I grew older, I became obsessed with behind the scenes documentaries. I would buy special edition dvd’s just to watch the bonus features and learn.

In September of 2015, I began battling a condition known as POTS. It affects my autonomic nervous system with bouts of extremely low blood pressure that often cause severe migraines, nausea, dizziness, and fainting. I dropped out of St. Mary’s Dominican High School in favor of a home bound program offered by East Jefferson High School. With so much time cooped up in hospital beds and traveling to various specialists across the states, I occupied myself by learning methods of special effects makeup. It was useful for pranking my doctors and nurses. I also spent a lot of time watching recorded live performances and any backstage info I could get my hands on. By 2018, I had learned how to manage most of my symptoms, and I prepared to re-join a school community. I was accepted into Loyola University New Orleans and graduated in the spring of 2022, majoring in Theatre Arts.

Today, I am eager to help mold creativity and imagination into tangible stories. Art, especially theatre, has supported me through trying times. I am dedicated to paying it back by being attentive and respectful when involved in the process, whether that be as a stage manager, board op, makeup artist, or spectator. Every aspect of theatre is present, collaborative, and human. I am honored and determined to be part of it.
